The IBA Fürst-Pückler-Land has been able to succeed only because it has examined – on the foundation of an initially worked out idea and philosophy for each project – the technical and economical aspects, on one hand, and the artistic and aesthetic aspects, on the other, and has brought them together with the respective stakeholders. Thus IBA has pointed out a clearly delineated and highly visible direction for emerging landscapes in Lusatia that public and private partners can continue to work with and shape even after IBA concludes its work.
