Thomas Worms, as an open-cast mining engineer, comes from the mining sector and was active there in production and planning. In 1996 he changed to the management of EXPO 2000 Saxony-Anhalt GmbH. There he worked, for example, in the scope of Ferropolis, the Iron City, as well as in that of the Goitzsche Cultural Landscape. At the IBA he is essential for some problems because of his solid, practical mining experience. He acts as the Head of Cooperation and Financing (authorised representative) as well as Deputy Managing Director. In addition, he is responsible for the production of the “Paradise 2” Art Project for the IBA Finale.
